What is the passing score for the exam?
Passing is a scaled score of 75 or higher. (See next question for additional information on a "scaled score").
What is a scaled score?
A scaled score of 75 is not a percentage, and does not mean that a candidate has answered 60 out of 80 questions correctly. A scaled score is calculated using a mathematical formula that considers a variety of factors, including the difficulty of the examination. Because some tests are more difficult than others, scaled scores provide a fair score for each individual based on his or her particular exam.
How soon will I get my results after I take the test?
It depends on how soon the training company sends back your class exams. We mail out results and certificates, on average, four days after we receive the exams.
What is the difference between Modern Chinese and Traditional Chinese?
The difference is the way the characters are written. Modern Chinese is also called Simplified Chinese.
