National Registry of Food Safety Professionals announced the addition of two exam delivery platforms to its Retail Grocery Food Safety Manager exam. Starting October 1, 2016, clients will be able to use supervised computer-based exams as well as secure testing kiosks, as National Registry is the first and only organization for food safety manager certification accredited by the American National Standards Institute approved to use a remote-proctored exam delivery system.
In addition to the traditional paper and pencil form of exam administration, National Registry is adding Pearson VUE Testing Centers (the largest network of exam centers in the United States), web-based proctored exams through a partnership with Diversys Learning, and the latest form of delivery: remote exam kiosks with Innovative Exams.
The new exam administration systems will continue to support National Registry’s robust data reporting tools shared via their popular data portals, and the exams will be updated, as always, using industry subject matter experts based on the most recent FDA Food Code for all of its exam programs including grocery.
National Registry maintains its commitment to the retail grocery industry via active roles supporting the Conference for Food Protection, The Global Food Safety Initiative, and the Food Marketing Institute among others. National Registry remains the most experienced, long-term provider of certification solutions specifically designed for the retail grocery industry team members.
